The website is powered by a Davis Vantage Pro2 weather station. The data is collected every 15 seconds and the site is updated every 5 minutes. This site and its data is collected using Wview Software. The station comprises of an anemometer, rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal position for highest accuracy possible.

Celina is a small (pop. ~5000) city located 50 miles north of Dallas. We have the feel of a small rural community while being within 30 minutes of major shopping and business districts.

The site consists of a data collection system (Intel/Linux based) that collects the data via USB connection from the Vantage Pro2 weather station. At 5 minute intervals, archive records are downloaded from the weather station and stored. Web pages and graphics are generated and uploaded to the web hosting provider.
Current condition data (Temp, Humidity, Wind, Rain) is updated every 15 seconds by relaying the data from the custom data feed agent to the web hosting provider.
